About Us
The pharmacy has been owned and managed by Birju Patel since 2006. Birju is the Superintendent Pharmacist of Stratwicks Ltd, and studied at the University of Brighton and graduated in 1997. Since graduating, Birju has worked in community and hospital pharmacy and is available without appointment for advice on prescription medicines and treating illnesses suitable for 'over the counter' medication.
Birju is assisted by Venisa Versani, a Pharmacy Technician registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Venisa ensures the dispensary runs efficiently, helps patients with their prescription medication and also gives healthcare advice at the counter. The team is completed by Ramila Mistry, Malini Patel, Pam Spuffard and Raman Patel who are all trained Medicines Counter Assistants. Not only does this excellent team offer a WHILE YOU WAIT prescription dispensing service, they also offer healthcare advice and stock a wide range of products ranging from health care items to cosmetics and household goods. The pharmacy also runs clinics, including a SMOKING CESSATION CLINIC with prescription NRT (see details Services).

When We Are Closed…
We are open six days a week (Monday to Saturday) and our opening hours can be seen above. For details of our service availability on Sundays and public holidays, please refer to the rota displayed on our door, in your doctor’s surgery and in the local press. If you require emergency (ie urgent) dispensing of medication at other times, please call NHS Direct on 0845 4647.

Whatever the problem or issue, our pharmacy staff will not be judgmental. So you can feel free to talk to us in complete confidence. Moreover, many of the services we provide can be carried out in our special soundproof consultation rooms.
We appreciate that there will be occasions when we may not be able to help you directly but we should be able to point you in the right direction towards someone who can. |
